At Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd (ASG), we manufacture and supply thousands of washers made from a variety of silicone sponge materials, available in multiple densities and grades. One of our most popular materials is HT800 Silicone Sponge, a medium-firmness, flame-retardant silicone.
HT800 silicone sponge is manufactured at 915mm wide, with standard thicknesses ranging from 0.8mm to 12.7mm, in various roll lengths. From these rolls, HT800 silicone sponge washers can be precisely cut to meet your requirements.
All HT800 washers are manufactured on-site using customer drawings or measurements, ensuring every product matches the exact specifications provided. Depending on the size and quantity required, we utilise a range of presses and CNC machines to produce everything from one-off samples to large batch runs, consistently delivering high-quality, accurate washers.
With in-house conversion facilities, we stock rolls and sheets of HT800 silicone sponge, ready for dispatch or further conversion into finished parts. These can be supplied plain or laminated with self-adhesives or foils, depending on your application.
What are HT800 Silicone Sponge Washers?
HT800 silicone sponge is a closed-cell, lightweight, medium-firm material designed for enhanced sealing and is flame-retardant. It is ideal for applications where fire safety, low smoke, and low toxicity emissions are essential.
The closed-cell structure makes HT800 ideal for sealing against dust, moisture, and air, making it an excellent choice for HT800 silicone sponge washer production.
These washers are flat rings with specified outer diameter (OD) and inner diameter (ID), cut from sheets of material. They function as spacers, seals, or pressure distributors between nuts and bolts, ensuring secure assembly and effective sealing.

Different Grades of Silicone Sponge Available
- High-Temperature Sponge: Medium-density, soft, and pliable. Operates between -60°C to +270°C (intermittent 300°C).
- Fluorosilicone Sponge: Blue, closed-cell, resistant to oil, chemicals, fuels, and solvents. Temperature range -62°C to +204°C, with low compression set.
- Thermally Conductive Silicone: Closed-cell sponge offering thermal conductivity and electrical isolation for heat-transfer applications.
- High Recovery Silicone Sponge: Closed-cell sponge with a delicate fabric finish, available in red oxide or black, ideal for printing and textile applications.
- FDA Sponge: Medium-density, closed-cell, platinum-cured silicone conforming to FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 standards, suitable for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical sealing.
