Density can be selected to best suit the circumstances of use to ensure the Sponge Silicone offers sealing properties that remain at a high level. Variants of Sponge Silicone such as HT800 and BF1000 are also readily available to meet the strictest of criteria for projects such as the London underground and outdoor sealing.

Silicone sponge is closed cell with a relatively low compression set which offers the benefits and performance of a solid silicone, but is softer and more compliant,it is useful for high-temperature applications of sealing and also for Food applications where FDA approved silicone is readily available. All of the above can be manufactured in either plain or self-adhesive backed, peel-able liner on one or both sides. This product features a closed cell structure and a smoother outer wall, ensuring liquid and gas are unable to pass through the sheets, providing excellent insulation and sealing properties.
