    What is Studded Rubber Matting?

Circular studded Rubber Matting or Studded Rubber Matting is manufactured using PVC or NR/SBR with a ‘circular’ pattern on the surface and a smooth flat surface on the reverse.  Studded Rubber Matting is used for general purpose applications, work surfaces,  smaller areas of flooring,  ideal for walkways and the catering industry as they are easy to clean and non-slip even when wet.

Studded Rubber Matting is manufactured in continuous rolls, with the non-slip uniform pattern running down the entire length, which can be cut down into smaller sheets of 1 meter or 2 meters in length, smaller pads or even bespoke profiles cut to a specific shape to fit.

    Why use Studded Rubber Matting?

Studded Rubber Matting is manufactured as an all round hard wearing, general purpose matting creating an easy to clean, non-slip and non-trip flooring for high traffic walkways.

Studded Matting also provides anti-fatigue and underfoot comfort, helping with circulation and protection from cold floors.

Studded rubber matting can be often found used in kitchens, bars and other industrial surfaces, including worktops and as work bench protection.   When taken in full rolls, customers have the flexibility to cover very large floor areas and cut the rolls down to size as required, alternatively they can purchase the roll for ASG to convert into the finished product prior to despatch.

    Other Types of Matting available

Anti-fatigue matting is designed as non-slip floor covering for use at workstations or production lines where individuals would be standing for long periods of time, where the composition of the mats reduces stress on muscles and joints.

Broad (wide) Ribbed Rubber matting – is used for commercial and industrial applications offering an anti-slip, anti-fatigue, floor to foot insulation that is easy to clean.

Cattle matting is non-slip even when wet, they’re none absorbent and provide insulation from the cold floor.  These mats are manufactured with a hollow pattern on the underside to allow for drainage and easy cleaning, making them a hygienic sheet for use with livestock.

Electrical matting is used for insulation, stopping or reducing electrical currents – therefore minimising the risk of electric shocks occurring.  This material has a fine fluted, non-slip surface used in areas where live electrical equipment is present such as control and switchboard rooms.

Fine fluted rubber matting has a ribbed surface, offering a non-slip and anti-fatigue floor covering with good insulation and anti-vibration properties. These mats can be found used on walkways, but also cut down and used on workstation surfaces to provide a non-slip worktop.

Pyramid matting is utilised in the catering industry and on walkways, they offer an easy to clean, non-slip surface even when wet with anti-fatigue and insulation properties.

Studded rubber matting is used to create non-slip floors and work surfaces in many wet and dry applications and environments.

Advantages of using Studded Rubber Matting

Acoustic foam gaskets hold various advantageous properties that are highly utilizable in a variety of industries.

The greatest advantage of using acoustic foam gaskets is the exceptional noise dampening capabilities of the material. As acoustic foam is an open cell material it is highly effective at absorbing sounds as well as cushioning and padding.

Acoustic foam gaskets commonly used as the material performs multiple functions at the same time, while the acoustic foam gasket is applied for cushioning the material will also absorb sound waves dampening the noise.
