Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd work with a multitude of reputable manufacturers and suppliers, enabling us to offer a range of sheet materials in many grades, densities and colours, including various grades of PVC Foam, one of which includes fast recovery pvc foam sheets.

Fast recovery PVC is a closed-cell, low-density foam which has a number of excellent mechanical properties, used widely for sealing and insulation. 

Fast recovery PVC foam is manufactured and stocked in roll form with a choice of thicknesses between 2mm and 20mm, roll widths of 1 meter or 1.4 meters and rolls lengths of up to 130 meters long depending on the thickness, which can be supplied in full, cut sheets supplied in meter lengths.  

As we offer in-house conversion and lamination services, we can not only split Fast recovery PVC foam down to non-standard thicknesses, we can also laminate layers together and apply a choice of self-adhesives or foil facings. 

Our onsite facilities consist of a number of presses, log cutters, strippers, bandsaws and CNC machines from which we can produce a number of PVC foam products using the sheets including gaskets, washers, strips, pads and fabrications.

What are Fast Recovery PVC Foam Sheets?

Fast Recovery PVC Foam is made up of PVC and Polyurea compounds which are combined, heated until it expands and then cured, creating a closed-cell, low-density foam, designed to seal against air, dust and liquids. 

Fast Recovery PVC Foam as the name suggests ‘recovers’ quickly the following compression. It is manufactured in continuous rolls, at specific lengths depending upon the material thickness which can later be cut down and supplied as sheets at 1 or 2 meters in length.

    Why use Fast Recovery PVC Foam Foams?

    Fast Recovery PVC Foam sheets of material offers all the mechanical properties of the other PVC Foam which include UV resistance, low-level water absorption, dimensional stability and is used to construct seals against air, dust and liquids, but which also offers fast recovery following compression which are lightweight, flame retardant and durable. 

    The Fast Recovery property makes these sheets perfect for cutting moisture seals and using them within filtration systems as the material will bounce back to its original shape and size following compression, reducing the time air, dust and moisture has to escape.
