Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaskets
Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaskets
Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaskets: Here at Advanced Seals & Gaskets Limited, we maintain a close relationship with a variety of suppliers, allowing us to provide materials that can be tailored to meet the requirements of our customers. One of the materials we offer is non-cross-linked Polyethylene foam. Non-cross-linked polyethylene foam is a lightweight, closed-cell material that exhibits a variety of resistance and insulation properties, and is available in different grades, densities, and colours. Due to the product's versatile nature, we can use it to manufacture a variety of products including gaskets. Our Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaskets can be manufactured plain, with self-adhesive backings, foils or films. This can be applied on one or both sides, and supplied as individual pieces or kiss-cut onto strips.
Whether we manufacture as a one-off or in large quantities, we work closely with our customers throughout the manufacturing process to provide a completely bespoke service. Utilizing a highly-trained workforce and state-of-the-art machinery such as our presses, CNC and kiss cut machines, we produce top quality products to meet a wide range of specifications.
Non-cross-linked polyethylene foam is available from us in many other forms including:

What is Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam?
Non-cross-linked polyethylene foam gaskets offer excellent performance. This material is non-abrasive, water resistant, flexible, and lightweight. Unlike cross-linked polyethylene foam, non-cross-linked polyethylene foam is extruded. Air is injected into the manufacturing cells, which then combine with neighbouring cells to form non-cross-linked polyethylene foam.
Standard sheet sizes are 1200mm x 2000mm with a thickness range of between 50mm and 100mm; however, the product can be cut and shaped to meet a variety of requirements.

Why use Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaskets?
Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaksets offer uncompromised dimensional stability, so it is easy to convert into a wide range of shapes, densities and thicknesses. These desirable properties make it an ideal choice for a wide variety of products including gaskets.
The purpose of a gasket is to fill gaps and irregularities between 2 surfaces and provide a solution to unwanted noise and vibrations or to seal against air, gas, dust and liquids. They can also be used to cushion between moving parts to reduce friction and therefore damage.
In addition, Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam is resilient, eco-friendly and non-toxic.
Different Grades of Non-Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam Gaskets
