Nylon Fabric Sheet
Nylon Fabric Sheet
Here at Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd, we stock a wide variety of products, including our nylon fabric sheets. Nylon fabric is a thermoplastic material similar to silk, made from petroleum, which can be melt-processed into various films, or shapes. Nylon fabric textiles are durable, strong and available in a standard sheet size of 2000mm x 1000mm with thicknesses between 0.5mm to 3mm. Our nylon fabric textile sheets are available plain or self-adhesive backed with a peel-able liner on one or both sides. In addition, nylon fabric may be laminated with a neoprene sponge for use in wet suits, protective clothing, or orthopaedic supports.
Whether we manufacture one-offs or in large quantities, we work closely with our customers to provide a completely bespoke service. Utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and a highly trained workforce, we produce top quality products to meet a wide range of specifications.
Nylon Fabric textiles are available from us in many forms including:

What are Nylon Fabric Textiles?
The term nylon refers to a family of synthetic polymers commonly used to produce a variety of products. In contrast to organic fibres or semi-synthetic fibres, nylon fibres are entirely synthetic, which means they do not originate from organic materials.
Nylon fabric is composed of a long chain of carbon-based molecules called monomers. There are several types of nylon, but the majority are derived from polyamide monomers found in crude oil, commonly referred to as petroleum. Among other things, nylon fabric textiles are widely used in seatbelts and tire cords because of their durability and ability to retain their shape after getting wet.
Why use Nylon Fabric Sheets?
The nylon fabric sheets we supply to our customers are designed to be used according to their requirements. Nylon fabric textiles are used in a range of applications due to their strength and elasticity. Regardless of the grade of nylon you purchase, it is a very durable material that is stronger than some metals. Furthermore, its elasticity allows it to be shaped and moulded into almost any design easily.
Nylon polymers are widely used in a variety of applications, including flooring, rubber reinforcement, moulded parts for electrical equipment, and food packaging films.
Different Grades of Nylon Fabric Textiles

Advantages of using Nylon Fabric Sheets
There are many advantages to using nylon fabric textiles, including noise dampening properties, strong wear and mold resistance, and good heat resistance. Nylon is often chosen to replace bronze, brass, aluminium, or steel parts due to its easy conversion, low cost and high performance in demanding environments.
There are many industries in which nylon fabric textiles are used, including the automotive industry, in which nylon is commonly used for washers, gaskets, and spacers.
