Polyether Foam Sheet
Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd supplies high-quality Polyether Polyurethane Foam Sheets in a wide variety of grades, densities, and colours to suit different applications. Polyether foams are versatile, durable, and lightweight, offering excellent resistance to oxidation and ageing compared to many other rubber and foam materials.
Due to their resilience and cost-effectiveness, Polyether foam sheets are widely used for cushioning, padding, seating, and in the production of long-lasting products, including furniture, packaging, and insulation.
We stock master blocks in large sizes (typically 2–2.5m in length, 1–2m in width, and up to 1,260 mm in thickness), which can be converted into finished sheets as thin as 1.5mm. Thanks to our in-house conversion and lamination services, we can also laminate multiple layers, add adhesives, or apply foil facings to meet specific requirements.
What are Polyether Foam Rolls?
Polyether Polyurethane Foam is part of the polymer family, closely related to polyester foams but with unique advantages. Produced by splitting master blocks into precise thicknesses (as little as 1.5mm), Polyether foam is a soft, open-cell, low-density material, typically available in grey or white.
It is formulated from polyether polyols, catalysts, and blowing agents, resulting in an open-cell structure that is ideal for applications requiring cushioning, air circulation, and moisture resistance.
Additives can also be introduced during manufacturing to enhance performance, including:
- Flame retardancy
- Anti-static properties
- Anti-bacterial resistance
This makes Polyether foam sheets highly adaptable across industries ranging from furniture and packaging to automotive and aerospace.
