PVC Foam washers are manufactured using samples, drawings, or dimensions provided by our customers, ensuring the final product meets exact specifications. Depending on the size and quantity, our production team uses an atom, an auto, a travelling head, or a kiss-cut press. For larger or thicker washers, we employ CNC (oscillating knife) machinery for efficient production, reducing lead times and costs.

PVC foam is stocked in a range of grades, colours, and densities, which can be laminated to other materials or coated with self-adhesive backing before cutting.

    What Are PVC Foam Washers?

    PVC Foam (Polyvinyl Chloride) washers are lightweight, durable, and versatile. A PVC foam washer is a flat ring with an Outer Diameter (OD), an Inner Diameter (ID), and a thickness, cut from a sheet or roll of PVC foam.

    These washers are placed between two surfaces to:

    • Create a level surface

    • Act as a spacer

    • Provide a tight seal between pipework joints or fasteners.

    • Distribute pressure under nuts and bolts.

    PVC foam washers are widely used in industrial, automotive, construction, HVAC, marine, and electronics applications for window seals, door seals, dust and light seals, and general protection.

    • Soft PVC Foam: Low-density, closed-cell foam (~90–100 Kg/m³), working temperature -30°C to +70°C, excellent UV resistance and sealing against air, dust, and liquids. Available in 2mm–20mm thicknesses.

    • Medium PVC Foam: Mid-density (~140–170 Kg/m³), excellent UV resistance, low water absorption, dimensional stability, temperature range -30°C to +60°C. Available in 2mm–20mm thicknesses.

    • Firm PVC Foam: Higher density (~200–220 Kg/m³), UV resistant, sealing against air, dust, and liquids, temperature range -30°C to +80°C. Available in 2mm–8mm thicknesses.

    • Fast Recovery PVC Foam: Low-density, closed-cell foam (~100–120 Kg/m³) that returns quickly to its original shape after compression, with excellent sealing, UV resistance, and a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C. Available in 2mm–20mm thicknesses.

    • Slow Recovery PVC Foam: Low-density, closed-cell foam (~100–125 Kg/m³), slower recovery after compression, UV resistant, sealing against air, dust, and liquids, temperature range -30°C to +60°C. Available in 2mm–20mm thicknesses.
