PVC Nitrile Sponge Sheet

Pvc Nitrile Sponge Sheet

At Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd, we provide high-quality PVC Nitrile sponge sheets, commonly stocked in both sheet and roll form for immediate dispatch or further conversion. PVC Nitrile, also referred to as PVC/NBR, is available in a wide range of thicknesses from 3mm to 50mm, featuring a skin finish on both faces. Standard rolls can reach up to 30 meters long, depending on the thickness, while thicker materials are typically supplied as sheets.

For custom thickness requirements, our state-of-the-art splitting machines can process rolls down to 1.5mm, available in either cell-to-cell or skin-to-cell finishes.

Our on-site conversion facilities include log cutters, slitters, bandsaws, presses, and an oscillating knife, enabling us to transform sheets into precision components such as pads, washers, gaskets, and strips. These can be supplied plain, laminated with self-adhesives or foils, or laminated to other materials to create composite sheets and specialized fabrications.

What are PVC Nitrile Sponge Sheets?

PVC Nitrile sponge rubber combines Nitrile and PVC polymer compounds to create a soft, flexible, closed-cell material with a skin finish on both faces. The sheets are ideal for converting into components used in shock absorption, impact protection, noise reduction, and thermal insulation.

The closed-cell structure also makes PVC Nitrile sponge suitable for gas, moisture, and air sealing, commonly cut into pads, washers, gaskets, or strips for these applications.

Why use PVC Nitrile Sponge Rubber Sheets?

PVC Nitrile sponge sheets are engineered to deliver multiple benefits:

    • Air, gas, and watertight sealing

    • Thermal insulation

    • Vibration and noise reduction

The material is impact, heat, UV, and ozone resistant, as well as flame retardant, making it highly suitable for construction, industrial, and manufacturing applications.

PVC Nitrile sheets are dust-free, ensuring safe use in building environments without compromising air quality, and tested to Class O fire specifications. They provide flexibility for on-site cutting of strips, pads, gaskets, or washers, especially for covering larger surface areas.
