Reconstituted polyurethane foam sheets, also known as 'recon,' 'crumb,' or 'chip' foam, display a multi-colored appearance and a fuzzy texture. These sheets are manufactured from large master blocks or 'buns,' typically over 2 meters by 1.5 meters in size and over 1 meter in height. These master blocks are readily available for carving and splitting into reconstituted polyurethane foam sheets.
Our onsite conversion machinery allows us to cut recon foam down to a thickness of just 2mm. These foam sheets can be supplied as-is or used for further conversion into finished products like gaskets, strips, washers, or pads. We utilize various machines, including presses, kiss cut machines, and band saws, to customize these sheets. They can be provided in a plain finish, coated with foils or self-adhesives, or laminated with other materials to create composites, ensuring they meet specific application requirements.
