Advanced Seals & Gaskets Ltd supply a wide range of high-quality solid rubber materials, including solid natural rubber sheets. Manufactured from naturally occurring latex, solid natural rubber is highly valued for its exceptional tensile strength, superior tear resistance, and excellent shock absorption.
Our natural rubber sheets are typically supplied in 1m x 1m or 2m x 1m sizes; however, we can cut custom sizes upon request. Sheets can also be supplied plain or with self-adhesive backing, with a range of thicknesses to suit different industrial applications.

Characteristics of Solid Natural Rubber
- Standard Thicknesses: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 6mm, 10mm, 12mm
- Standard Sizes: 1.4m x 10m (1mm–6mm); 1.4m x 5m (10mm & 12mm)
- Colours: White, Black
- Operating Temperature: -30°C to +70°C
- Grades: BS1154 Natural Rubber, Tan Shot Blast Rubber, Abrasion-Resistant Natural Rubber
- Resistances: Abrasion, tear, ozone, water, electrical current
- Limitations: Not suitable for prolonged exposure to oils, fuels, solvents, or petroleum

What Is Solid Natural Rubber?
Natural rubber is produced from latex, a milky fluid harvested from the rubber tree. This results in a strong, durable, and waterproof material, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
Solid natural rubber is manufactured in rolls 1.4m x 10m with thicknesses starting at 0.5mm. It is available in various shore strengths and is ideal for producing wear strips, gaskets, chute liners, and other components requiring robust material performance.

Grades of Solid Natural Rubber Sheets
- BS1154 Natural Rubber: High-grade material with excellent tensile strength, non-abrasive, available in black or white. Suitable for food and beverage processing.
- Tan Shot Blast Rubber: Long-lasting, heavy-duty material with high abrasion resistance, ideal for scraper blades, chutes, and wear strips.
- Abrasion-Resistant Natural Rubber: Formulated to resist wear and tear, this highly elastic material is effective for low-compression sealing applications and is available in black, red, or white.
