WRAS EPDM Rubber Strip

WRAS EPDM Rubber Strip

Here at Advanced Seals & Gaskets, we manufacture thousands of high-quality rubber strips, also known as sealing strips, gasket strips, or isolation strips, produced from a wide range of materials tailored for specific industries and applications. One such material is EPDM rubber, which we use to create our EPDM rubber strips.

EPDM rubber is available in multiple grades and hardness levels, including WRAS-approved EPDM (Water Regulations Advisory Scheme). This grade is suitable for contact with wholesome water and is commonly used in applications where water for human consumption is involved.

The material is supplied in roll form at 1.4 meters wide by 10 meters long, with thicknesses starting from 1mm, from which EPDM rubber strips can be cut. All WRAS EPDM rubber strips are manufactured to order using our band saws, strippers, log cutters, and presses, depending on the required size and quantity. In-house production ensures that we closely monitor the process to produce high-quality, competitively priced EPDM rubber strips consistently.

Our WRAS EPDM rubber strips are cut from rolls or sheets manufactured in standard thicknesses starting at just 1mm. They can be supplied with self-adhesive backing or laminated to other materials and cut into strips from 4mm wide, available in pre-cut lengths or coils up to 10 meters long.

What are WRAS Solid EPDM Rubber Strips?

WRAS-approved EPDM rubber is specially formulated to be safe for use in potable water applications for human consumption. It adheres to BS6920-1:2000 and BS6920-1:2014, ensuring the material does not adversely affect water quality.

Manufactured in roll form with a cloth impression on both faces, WRAS EPDM offers an impervious surface to ensure water remains contained. The strips can be cut to widths starting from 4mm and are available in pre-cut short pieces or rolls up to 10 meters long.
